Expectedto work in challenging Directional Systems environments and to providecomplex solutions to the Customer. Executes other related duties as assigned.Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSEpolicies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.Develop and demonstrate proficiency in the skill profile required forthe delivery of Directional Systems services at the well site. Expected to maintainfrequent intra-organizational and external customer contacts with a highdegree of professionalism. Acts as a projectleader and mentors junior field engineers.

Work is evaluated upon completion by a FieldSupervisor (where appropriate), local Operations Management and theexternal Customer to ensure objectives have been met. Provides resolution to a diversescope and range of complex problems at the wellsite where analysis ofdata requires having a broad knowledge of the product line’s tool(s)and/or service(s). + Ability to read and comprehend and follow all quality/safety policies and procedures.Under broad direction provides direct instruction and supervison tojunior Field Engineers on day-to-day wellsite work and activites.Provides advice and direction to external customer and third-partywellsite colleagues as appropriate. + Self-motivated, safety, quality and production minded + Ability to comply with the “Operator’s Manual” for your particular equipment + Understanding of client and company work specifications + Working knowledge of DOT regulations (Vehicle and Operator Qualifications)

+ Knowledge of underground pot-holing is a plus + Strong knowledge of underground utilities + 1 to 3 years demonstrated Horizontal Directional Drilling experience Vehicles and equipment to be kept clean and secured. + At end of work day, truck and equipment should be returned to shop and secured. + Strive for optimal production while working safely and performing quality work + Complies with safety procedures while driving and at job site + Follows specifications for the job and company policies Dailies, labor hours, bore logs, vehicle maintenance reports, etc.) + Communicates with Supervisor daily to turn in required paperwork (i.e. + Clean, check fluid levels and conduct a visual inspection of vehicle/ equipment to assure your vehicle/equipment is performing at optimum safety, perform the required pre-trip, post trip inspections and the required paperwork, perform needed maintenance including winterizing equipment.

+ Communicate with team to confirm the location of the drill head + Drill out following the predetermined drill path to the exit pit
